With April here and almost gone, spring continues to unfold all around us. By now I’m sure you are very familiar with the change of season right outside your own front door but sometimes it’s fun to explore spring’s arrival in a familiar, yet unfamiliar setting. Omaha’s own, Henry Doorly Zoo, known for its over 950 species of animals, isn’t just for fauna lovers this time of year.
Nature’s spring time show is sure to dazzle visitors on the 130 acres of land if they only know where to look. Different species of flora bloom all around visitors as the walk up and down the miles of path between exhibits. Our account manager, Nate Huse, traveled between the Desert Dome, aquarium and rhino exhibit with his wife and two girls, brining back a few snaps of buds and blooms for you to enjoy.
Spring is all around us wherever you go! Trips to the zoo aren’t just for the animals for us neighborhood naturalists. Searching for botanical beauty in unexpected spaces can be a beautiful experience in itself. Where will you explore?
