Day in the Life: Head Gardener | Kinghorn Gardens

We asked; you voted! The results are in. Drumroll please… and the latest Day in the Life photo blog of a KG employee is… one of our Head Gardeners, Jenny Hill! This is a very busy time of year for head gardeners in the biz, so it was very gracious of Jenny to take us along on her daily routine. Jenny’s day starts and ends with puppies… jealous yet?

5:45am – Bane and Luna, early morning spot stealers! Just keeping the bed warm until you come back mom!

6.30

6:30am – Morgan and Joe hammin’ it up for the camera before school. Say cheese!

8.15

8:15am – On to the job site. This wheel barrow is my life March to May.

8.20

8:20am – Mulch madness! Getting the piles out. Go, go, go!

10

10:00am – Taking a break from mulching and putting those pruners to work! Oh shrub pruning, how I love the.

11

11:00am – Clearing a bulb area for a future vegetable garden.

3

3:00pm – How lucky am I to be surrounded by these beautiful sights everyday?

5.30pm

5:30pm – Cleaning up a puppy present. Salt? Really? But look at that wittle face!

6pm

6:00pm – This guy melts my heart every night. [Insert awhh here]

7

7:00pm – Cuddle time!

9

9:15pm – Don’t mind if I do…

Mulch, puppies, and coconut milk ice cream; perfection. Now everyone [and their dog] will want to be a head gardener when they grow up, typical.
