With the start of spring this week, what better way to celebrate than through a Day in the Life of the Color Team! Jen Shuster and Erin Trotter, proud purple polo wearers, took us on a tour of their day with puppies, a baby and beautiful spring plantings, what more could you ask for?
Jen 3:00am – Wake up for a puppy potty break!
Erin 3:30am – Somebody’s hungry! Alyssa Rose is almost 3 months old!
Jen 6:00am – Breakfast for me and the fiance, mornings are always the best!
Erin 5:45am – My turn for breakfast.
Erin 6:00am – Hmm what to to wear, what to wear? Challenging wardrobe decisions.
Jen 7:15am – Omaha sunrise on the way to work.
Erin 7:20am – Hardest part of the day, goodbye Alyssa!
Jen & Erin 8:00am – Drawing up some planting plans before heading out.
Jen & Erin 9:15am – Watering interiors.
Jen & Erin 10:30am – Then to the outdoors – they need a drink too! Admiring our emerging growth from last falls hard work!
Jen & Erin 11:40am – Next we spend time clearing out browning winter greens from many properties. Out with the old to make room for the new!
Jen & Erin 1:15pm – Checking on plants in the surpisingly full green house, everythign looks good!
Jen & Erin 4:30pm – Closing up the green house to keep our potted friends warm overnight.
Erin 5:00pm – Headed home, loving the huge Sycamore trees and the sunshine
Jen 5:20pm – Doggie round up! Let’s do a few tricks and get some attention!
Erin 5:30pm – Fetch!
Erin 7:45pm – Finally some cuddle time with Miss Alyssa, a great end to the day!
As you can see the Color Team is “springing into action” this season and keeping busy with their plantings, babies and puppies! Too much cute for one post!
