Stewardship in Action:
Atop a bluff along the Elkhorn River sits a beautiful home surrounded by remnant prairie. An intentional "stylized" planting (from the prairie's influence) now fits within the surrounding aesthetic. A stewardship response to valuing the context of the site and use of resources.
We encourage people to fall in love with their own unique sense of place and celebrate one’s surrounding habitat. Knowing when design is well thought out with purpose and intention – habitats contribute to our own “Human Nature”.
Habitat in Action:
Soft Light, Shelter and Curiosity combine within this setting. A natural response to fulfill our human desire for protection. The windows provide an inside/out invitation to encounter this urban woodland with in reach.

Simplicity in Action:
Within a noisy world we capture a moment in time from the whisper of a ripple.
We have a responsibility to the community we serve. To foster good works and support quality of life causes. We are to share the load and celebrate the collective components of the big picture landscape we all inhabit together.
Community in Action:
We believe in the positive influence of gardens to improve lives and build community. Using three city stormwater management lots, we are turning the space into an in-city oasis of beauty, learning, growth, and community called The Colina.
