Wintergreens: Peaceful Nights | Kinghorn Gardens

Our third and final theme for Wintergreens is something we could all benefit from after a long, crazy year. Twenty fourteen has had its share of ups and downs and what better way to recuperate than with some long, peaceful, winter nights. It’s on these peaceful nights that memories are made; hot chocolate and homemade cookies while playing cards next to an open fire as the snow falls silently outside, stars glowing in the sky.

Capturing this warm scene in wintergreens is no easy task, but with the help of our inspiration list, our designers, Anne and Nate were ready for the challenge.

Peaceful Night Lingo: birch branches, grape vines, snowfall, serene, stars, winterberry, stillness, natural, tranquil, simple, blue firs, nature’s miracles, snowflakes, small white lights, pine cones, and incense cedar.

Nate sketched out a small spruce top Christmas tree in a wicker basket, adorned with simple stars and lights.

While Anne designed a serene mantle with shining stars and luscious mixed greens. The perfect atmosphere for enjoying a night by the fire.

In our third wintergreen theme video, Nate creates his own version of Anne’s design.
